Role
UX Expert
At eurofunk KAPPACHER, I held the role of a senior UX/UI designer, where I contributed to the development of user-centered solutions for safety-critical systems. My work was driven by in-depth user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions tailored to complex, high-stakes environments. I crafted detailed user personas and journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and a comprehensive UI Style Guide to ensure design consistency, usability, and accessibility across all interfaces.
A key focus of my role was spearheading initiatives in inclusive design and digital accessibility, ensuring the solutions met the diverse needs of all user groups, including those with disabilities. I also took an active role in facilitating design workshops for developers, fostering collaboration and alignment between design and development teams to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
At eurofunk KAPPACHER, I served as a senior UX/UI designer, playing a pivotal role in developing user-centered solutions for safety-critical systems used by emergency organizations, industrial clients, and international airports. My work focused on understanding complex user needs and translating them into innovative, intuitive, and reliable design solutions. This required conducting thorough user research, usability testing, and data analysis, ensuring that all design decisions were grounded in real-world insights and aligned with the high-stakes environments in which the systems operate.
A core aspect of my role was creating detailed user personas and journey maps to inform design strategies. I developed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and a robust UI Style Guide to ensure visual and functional consistency across all interfaces. The UI Style Guide served as a foundational tool for maintaining cohesive design standards across the organization.
My responsibilities extended to championing inclusive design and digital accessibility initiatives. I implemented guidelines and practices that ensured all interfaces were accessible to diverse user groups, including those with disabilities, aligning with standards like WCAG. This work underscored my commitment to designing systems that were not only effective but also equitable and inclusive.
In addition to design execution, I organized and facilitated workshops for development teams to align design concepts with technical implementation. These workshops fostered collaboration, improved communication between design and technical teams, and streamlined the development process. My ability to bridge the gap between design and development was instrumental in ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Due to the highly sensitive and confidential nature of the projects at eurofunk KAPPACHER, protected by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), I am unable to showcase specific deliverables. However, my contributions significantly enhanced the usability, efficiency, and safety of mission-critical systems, directly impacting end-users and operational success.
This experience honed my ability to design for complexity, work within multidisciplinary teams, and deliver impactful solutions under stringent requirements. It has equipped me with a deep understanding of designing for high-pressure contexts and the importance of combining innovation, accessibility, and functionality in every project.
